He graduated from Yıldız Technical University Electrical Engineering in 2004 He completed his internship at Erdemir. He started his professional career at Ümran Steel Pipe Plant, where he worked as Electrical, I&C Maintenance Engineer and Maintenance Manager. He worked as Project Manager and Site Supervisor in MMK Metalurji Fabrikaları investment, and worked as Maintenance Manager in the same organisation.
Subsequently, he worked as Electricity-I&C Investment Manager at Kipaş Holding in the Paper and Energy plant investment. In his Schneider Electric career, which started in 2012, Soner Solak worked as a Solution Centre Project Manager in turnkey projects in Central Asia and Middle East countries and carried out projects in industrial sectors such as refinery, energy, cement, iron and steel in Turkey. He also served as Service Operations Manager and Project Management Center Manager at Schneider Electric.
At the beginning of 2020, he moved to Tüpraş and took on the position of IT/OT and Digital Transformation Leader. In addition to his experience with Waterfall, Agile-Scrum management methods, he has led various projects in the fields of Digital Transformation, Cyber Security and Innovation. He has been working as the Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technologies (OT) Leader at Enerjisa Üretim A.Ş. since 2022 He is currently continuing the Executive MBA program at Sabancı University.

He started working in the Department of Computer Engineering at Sakarya University in 1995 He was a visiting professor in the USA in 2012 and took on various administrative duties during this period. Özçelik, who currently works as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering, is also the coordinator of the Critical Infrastructures National Test Bed Center (CENTER SAU), supported by the Presidency of Defense Industries and implemented in cooperation with STM. He conducts research studies on topics such as Cyber Security, Information Security, Security of Critical Infrastructures, Operational Technologies (OT), Industrial Communication Protocols, Computer Networks, Vehicular Networks (VANET). He publishes many papers and articles in national and international prestigious conferences and journals related to his research areas, conducts and consults in EU, SSB, Tübitak supported projects and carries out many consultancy and process management within the scope of University-Industry cooperation. In addition, he carries out activities in the field of Cyber Security in the fields of product development, R&D studies, advisory board membership, supporting entrepreneurs, organising voluntary activities and participating in events.
Özçelik, who managed the establishment processes of "Cyber Security Education, Research and Application Laboratory" and "Critical Infrastructures National Test Bed Centre" at his university, has also been the coordinator of Sakarya University Cyber Security Master's Programme and the academy president of Cyber Security Student Community since
2014.

Kerem Barlak, a graduate of Yıldız Technical University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and an Executive MBA Master's degree from Istanbul Technical University, commenced his professional journey at Omron Industrial Automation Europe in 2007 and subsequently joined Schneider Electric in 2010 Barlak has occupied various roles within the company, including sales, strategic marketing, and end-user channel management. Additionally, he has established himself as a prominent figure in Turkey's sustainability sector through his seminars on "Digital Transformation in Industry" and his collaborations on diverse platforms.
As the manager of the machine manufacturers' channel, he achieved the highest rate of growth in 'motion control' globally. Additionally, as the manager of the end-user channel, he successfully secured the most "DCS" projects in the world for Turkey, earning the country prestigious awards. In 2020, he held the position of Senior Manager in the Strategy and Business Development Unit, overseeing 16 countries in the East Asia and Japan Region. His responsibilities included formulating the region's medium and long-term strategy, as well as handling business intelligence, strategy, and business development. Additionally, he supervised the business development processes of the countries in the region, collaborating with energy management and industrial automation software companies that partnered with Schneider Electric. Kerem Barlak assumed the role of Vice President for Schneider Electric Turkey, Central Asia, and Pakistan Industrial Automation Business Unit in April 2022.
