Yoshinori Moriwaki
Türkiye General Manager - Hazama Ando Corporation
Mr Yoshinori Moriwaki, a Master Architect and Senior Civil Engineer, is the General Manager of the Istanbul Branch of Hazama Ando Corporation, which built the Petronas twin towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, at the time the tallest building in the world, and Akashi, Japan's longest suspension bridge, as well as the Secretary General of the Japan Overseas Construction Companies Association.
Beginning with the Swiss Hotel Project in Turkey in 1990, he went on to work for YKK Zipper Factory, Honda, Toyota, Akdeniz University Organ Transplant Hospital, D.M. Radar Construction (Balkesir, Zonguldak, atalca), and almost all of the Japanese Automotive sector's investments in Turkey.
On behalf of the Japan Overseas Construction Companies Association, he was involved in the Marmaray and Izmit Bay Crossing Bridge Project. In Turkey, earthquake seminars were conducted by the speaker in various locations including Antalya, Isparta, Burdur, Muğla, Bingöl Governorships, İzmir Karşıyaka, Yenişehir, Siirt, İstanbul Şişli and Beşiktaş, Fethiye Tekirdağ Süleymanpaşa Municipalities, Tuzla, Gayrettepe, Suadiye Rotary clubs, as well as civil engineers' chambers and associations. These seminars were delivered in more than 450 schools across Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Izmir, Northern Cyprus, Adapazarı, Izmit, Siirt, Antalya, Bingöl, Karabük, Samsun, Isparta, Denizli, Çorlu, Yozgat, Erzurum, Tunceli, Elazığ, Van, Bitlis, Muş, Sivas, Eskişehir, Çanakkale, and Samsun (68 out of 81 provinces).
In addition, he delivered "Career" presentations on TEDx (twice) and other similar platforms. He served for 13 years in Sendai, the region where the earthquake occurred in Japan on 11/03/2011.
