points emphasised by the global headquarters, as well as the perspective of their own organisations on the issue, and the actions taken to increase
and improve supplier awareness on this issue, were mentioned at this point. On the other hand, during the pandemic period, when we saw
serious effects on the supply chain, we discussed sustainability-oriented measures taken and lessons learned.

Ersin Öztürk graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Industrial Engineering in 1994 He has been working at Bosch Sabayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. since 2000 He worked mainly in logistics and, at various periods, in management accounting and enterprise resource planning project teams at the Bursa factory. Between 2013 and 2017, he served as the director responsible for logistics planning at the factory in Stuttgart, one of the main factories. He has been responsible for logistics operations at the Bursa factory since 2017, and in parallel, he leads the digital transformation and sustainability strategies of the Bursa factory.

He received his Bachelor's degree from Boğaziçi University's Mechanical Engineering Department in 1994, and his Master's and MBA degree from Boğaziçi University's Business Administration Department in 1997 He started his career at Koç Holding in 1994 as a Project/Purchasing Engineer in the Automotive Companies Supply Coordination Group. In 2000, he worked as Production Planning/Purchasing/Logistics Chief at Sachs Beldesan, another Koç Group company. Between 2002 and 2005, he worked as Regional Procurement/Business Development and Projects Manager at Ingersoll Rand, a US-based global/multinational industrial company group, and took part in many international projects. It has contributed to the formation of global supply networks across different cultures in many sectors in different countries.
In 2005, he was transferred to Doğuş Otomotiv as Project Manager in charge of Industrial Investments, and carried out feasibility studies for local production projects of vehicles
imported by the company. In this context, he managed all stages of Doğuş Otomotiv's joint production investments with Meiller Kipper AG and Krone Trailer AG. In 2008, he was appointed as the General Manager of Meiller Doğuş, and realised the planned phases in the fields of production quality supply and export. Afterwards, he moved to the telecommunications sector and worked as the Purchasing Governance Director at Avea and, after integration, at Türk Telekom Group. In 2016, he established his own consultancy company operating in the fields of Purchasing, Industrial IoT and General Management. In this context, he provided consultancy services to Turkey's leading groups on Procurement Transformation, Supply Chain Optimisation, Systems and Automation. Since 2018, he has been working as CPO at SunExpress. Ersan Meriç is also currently working on his doctoral thesis and is a guest speaker at various universities and congresses.
