Maximum value generation from solar power plants, which play an important role in the transformation of the energy sector, was discussed in all aspects in the panel, including design and feasibility studies of solar power plants, installation and elements to be considered in this process, operation and
maintenance strategies that should be established for the plant to provide efficient and high availability, and approaches that can be provided to regain
plants that have regenerated. The panel also discussed anticipated developments in solar panel technology, the positioning of domestically
produced panels in the global market, and waste management in plants that have been decided to be decommissioned. Furthermore, participants
presented their ideas on regulatory steps that can be taken from the investment process to the operation process of solar power plant assets on
a national scale.

He received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Boğaziçi University in 2002 He began his graduate studies at Louisiana State University the same year and graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering in 2004 He worked as a geotechnical engineer and project manager for CDM Smith, an international engineering and consulting firm, in the North Carolina, USA office. Sacit Akbaş returned to Turkey in 2012 to work as a senior project manager in Fichtner's hydropower department, Germany's largest independent engineering and consulting firm. He was named hydroelectric team leader in 2015, technical director of the renewable energy department in 2016, sales director in 2018, and country manager of the Turkish branch in 2019.
Since 2008, Sacit Akbaş, who also holds an MBA from Bahcesehir University, has been a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States. Sacit Akbaş was elected to the board of directors of TÜREB (Turkish Wind Energy Association), Turkey's largest renewable energy association, in February 2022, and is currently its vice president."
