A specialist in international relations, climate and environment, energy and finance, Olivia Manzagol holds degrees in Mathematics and Statistics, Finance and Economics from Georgia State University, and PhD and postdoctoral studies in Energy Management and International Finance from George Washington University and Stockholm University. He has worked as a lecturer in mathematics, statistics, economics, and business administration (finance, marketing, entrepreneurship) at various universities, including seminars and collaborations at St. Gallen University in Switzerland (finance) and Robert Gordon University in England (oil and gas management). He has worked as an economist and strategist in various departments of the US Department of Energy, working in the areas of finance, stock market, energy, climate change, energy production and distribution, pricing, technologies and utilisation, carbon tax and credits, policy and legislation, and continues to work with ongoing federal projects. His expertise also includes OECD Europe, Brazil, Central Latin America, and Japan.
Bank of America, Merrill Lynch sustainable financial investment advisor, and US and EU green deal and sustainability reporting and compliance advisor. As a strategic advisor, he is involved in branding and collaboration on environmental, social, and governance (ESG), corporate structure and board, financial and political sustainability. He is the founding partner of Jove Investment and Consulting. He is also a consulting partner with Navigant & PwC branch, working on strategy, energy and sustainability issues for large corporations (such as Coca Cola, Amazon, Sempra, Under Armour, etc.) and continues to collaborate extensively at the levels of international private companies, banks and investors, and conducts seminars.
He is trained in media and financial communications by Sheehan Associates & Media (Maryland-USA) and advises news outlets, the US European Attaché to Europe (EUCOM) on energy, finance and policy issues. She is happy to be involved in social, cultural, and artistic projects in the United States, Europe, and Turkey. In his spare time, he enjoys personal development, mindfulness, nature sports and golf.
